Ultra Seal Loss Circulation
Material
Ultraseal is a drilling fluid additive which effectively seals well
formations to control differential sticking and helps prevent loss
circulation problems.
Ultra Seal-XP - MSDS
Sheet
DESCRIPTION
Ultra Seal-XP is a blend of specific
micro-sized cellulosic fibers, combined with a blend of organic
polymers and lubricity enhancers.
APPLICATION
Ultra Seal-XP is designed to aid in the control of fluid
losses to the well bore, as well as promote the anti-friction chracteristics
of a drilling fluid.
Ultra Seal-XP seals off low pressure zones, which
in turn reduces rotary torque and drill string drag that is present
in these differential pressure environments.
Ultra Seal-XP inhibits seepage loss to the formation,
as well as restricting flow into depleted zones.
MIXING REQUIREMENTS
Ultra Seal-XP can be mixed through the mixing hopper no faster
than five sacks per minute. A slight increase in funnel viscosity
and internal rheology can be expected. This will smooth out once
the material has become sufficiently hydrated.
PACKAGING
25 pound multi-wall polyethylene paper bags (48 bags per
44"X44" pallet).
Ultra Seal-C - MSDS
Sheet
DESCRIPTION
Ultra Seal-Cis a blend of coarse fibrous
materials and is compatible with all water base, oil base, and polymer
drilling fluids used in the field today. It is a similar product
to Ultra Seal-XP manufactured in a coarse grade required for severse
or total loss of returns.
APPLICATION
Ultra Seal-C was developed for use in conjuction with Ultra
Seal-XP. This combination of products, mixed in various concentrations,
has proven very effective in both the control and elimination of
total loss circulation problems.
MIXING REQUIREMENTS
Ultra Seal-C can be mixed through the mixing hopper no faster
than five sacks per minute.
